Welcome to fantastic salmon and trout fishing in Emån.

ATTENTION! Catch & Release only. The fish are handled carefully and released again!

There are 2 day fishing licenses per day to buy during the period from the second week of March to the penultimate week of September. 2 fish Salmon/Sea trout above the minimum size (50cm) may be landed per fisherman per day. After reaching the quota, fishing must stop!

Don't forget that we are a water quota.
Book your fishing license before you book your trip.
If it is marked red in the calendar, the quota is filled for that day.

This is so that we can get better data on fishing.

ESFK's fishing route applies to both sides of Emån.
It starts above Hälleforshult (upstream of Karlshammar) and ends downstream of the road bridge after the large enclosure at Emsfors society.

Any littering in and around the river will inevitably lead to the suspension of your fishing license.

The area includes one or more fishing areas for catch-and-release, i.e the fishes are gently put back into the water alive.
