Welcome to fantastic salmon and trout fishing in Emån.

NOTE! Catch & Release only. The fish are handled carefully and released!

There are 2 daily fishing permits available for purchase during the period from the second week of March to the penultimate week of September. 2 salmon/sea trout over the minimum size (50cm) may be landed per fisherman per day. Once the quota has been reached, fishing must cease!

Don't forget that we are a quota water.
Book your fishing license before you book your trip.
If it is marked red in the calendar, the quota is full for that day.

Please note that strict catch reporting applies .

This is so that we can get better data on fishing.

ESFK's fishing route applies to both sides of the Emån River.
It starts above Hälleforshult (upstream of Karlshammar) and ends downstream of the road bridge after the large hedge at the Emsfors community.

Any littering in and around the river will inevitably lead to the revocation of your fishing license.
