Common dace - Leuciscus leuciscus

Live in small shoals. Go during the summer in the upper layer of water but spend the winter in depth. Know well the fast-flowing waters and is one of the most skilled swimmers among carps. Foraging on the bottom, but also takes driving and flying changes.

Population

Live in lakes or brackish water near the utmynningen of a waterway.

Size and growth

The length seldom exceeds 30 cm and weight of 300 grams.
