Alsterån-Lillån FVOF

Alsterån, the main channel from Fridhem in Alsterfors, through the community of Alstermo, through Rydefors to Fagraskogskvarn .

ATTENTION! Fishing is NOT ALLOWED in Lillån north of Norretorp, Snokabäcken north of Bockaskruv towards Möcklasjö and Snärjebäcken, which enters the community from the south and empties into Bäckparken. (See map)

FISHING WITH HAND GEAR ONLY ALLOWED. (Non-quantity-catching gear such as nets or tines.)

More open fishing water west of the bridge/sluice gates in Gamla Alstermo, in Höljen, the dam in Rydefors and the stretch before Fagraskogskvarn. The water flows mostly through sandy/gravelly moraine, glacial river sediment, peat and finer soils such as clay and silt. Some lots larger blocks and stone. source: SOME

Pay particular attention to larger boulders at the boat site in Rydefors.

Only rental via our local agent ICA/Alsterhallen during the agent's opening hours. Fee SEK 50 per day, maximum 2 days in a row. The boat is available in the period May-Sep, however not during 3 weekends in Aug/Sep. There is access to a picnic table at the mooring. Boats cannot be rented by minors.
