Bullaresjöarna are Bohuslän's largest lakes and fill 30 km of the 10-mile-long rift valley that stretches from Halden by Idefjorden in the north to Gullmarsfjorden in the south.
Norra Bullaresjön is, with its 39 meters, one of the deepest lakes in the county.
Södra Bullaresjön has a maximum depth of 26 meters. The runoff from the Bullaresjöarna takes place north via the Norwegian Enningdalsälven to the Idefjorden.
In Bullaresjöarna there are the following fish species: perch, pike, roach, bream, common bream, bream, norwegian, whitefish, whitefish, eel, minnow, trout and salmon.
Bullaren's fishing management area includes North and South Bullaresjön, Aspen, Busjön and Stärkelandshöjden.
The association manages the fishery in Bullaren's fishing area.
Coordinates the fishing activities of aquaculture and water conservation, taking into account the regulations that apply to the exercise of fish and to grant fishing rights to the public.
