Borlänge centrala FVO

Borlänge central FVO covers about 30 km of the Dalälven from Torsång in the south to Gimsbärke in the north. In addition, Grängshammarsån and Tunaån are included as well as about 40 lakes. The total water area is 900 ha.

Our waters

You will find our best sport fishing waters in Dalälven, Tunaån, Grängshammarsån, Bysjön and Båtstasjön. Båtstasjön is our put-and-take water.

Outplanting

In Båtstasjön, rainbow trout are planted from May until the end of the year. In the Dalälven between Bullerforsen and SSAB, compensatory stocking of catch-ready trout takes place during the summer. In Tunaån, zander fry are planted.

Bridges for the disabled

At the rest area on the north side of Bysjön there is a jetty for the disabled.

At Tunaån right next to RV70 there is a jetty for the disabled.

Crayfish fishing

Crayfish fishing is only permitted for fishing right owners.

Borlänge municipality transfers 100 fishing rights to people who are permanent residents of Borlänge municipality. The cost of these fishing dishes is SEK 400.
