Vormsele fvof

Vormsele FVO manages part of the Vindelälven River within Lycksele municipality. The fishing in the area is considered one of the better areas within the municipality with numerous rapids, good stream fishing in Vormbäcken and lake fishing for trout and char in Abborrtjärn.

Please note that special fishing permits apply in both Abborrtjärn and Vormbäcken.
The Vindelälven River within FVO contains a series of rapids with attractive stream fishing for trout, grayling and salmon. Intermediate sections of the river hold good stocks of, among others, pike, perch, whitefish and ide. Abborrtjärn is an attractive and appreciated fishing water with trout and grayling. Fine quality and really big fish. Best fishing during the rapids summer and when the sea dragonet (Rocken) hatches.

Winter fishing can also be successful, especially for char. Vormbäcken is one of the larger tributaries of the Vindelälven River and offers attractive fishing for grayling.
