A project is underway to recreate the migration of the large brown trout, of the rainbow trout stock, in the fish ladder in Bågede, for the possibility of further migration to spawning areas, to the watercourse upstream of Fågelsjön-Hetögeln. Migration control and biotope conservation measures are ongoing. Fish and fry of bow trout are annually released into the watercourse.
