Frissjön is a typical Småland forest lake with vegetation to the shore. The lake has several small islands, shallow bottoms and deep holes.

The 332-hectare lake is a clear-water lake, nutrient-poor with a maximum depth of 25.5 meters. Spin fishing and angling are the most popular fishing methods in Frissjön.

Frissjöns FVOF

Frissjöns Fiskevårdsområdesförening was formed in 1985 by all fishing water owners forming the association.

The purpose is to coordinate how the fishing is conducted and to provide fishing to the public. The association's goal is to ensure that Frissjöns maintains a good water quality by following the sampling that is done and possibly supplementing them.
