Gideälvens FVO

We welcome you to Gideälven's FVO.

Here we can offer you fine fishing for an original stock of grayling and trout, in a beautiful northern nature. The fishery conservation area in Gideälven extends between Björna power plant to Gammelby power plant. The rapids that are part of the Gideälven FVO are Skallviksforsen with a length of 200 m, Hemlingsforsen has a length of 1500 m and Långstrandsforsen which has a rapids stretch of 1300 m.

The river offers good access to grayling and trout. Between the rapids there is a very long supply for fishing for pike and perch, here there are also vendace, roach, bream and lake.

Rest area with parking is located at the bridge over Hemlingsforsen which has a large double windbreak with two barbecue areas, firewood is in the adjacent woodshed. There is also a footbridge over the river next to the rest area, with space for caravan parking. Country store and gas station with kiosk are located near the river in Hemling.
