Lake Idsjön (900 ha) harbors natural populations of pike, perch, whiting, trout, grayling and whitefish. In Lake Skåsjön there are pike, perch, id and whitefish. In Lill-Myssjön there are planted char and trout. In Ulvsjön there are pike, perch and whitefish as well as stocked trout. In Gimån's sel there are pike, whitefish, id and perch as well as trout.
Since 1968, Gimdalen's Fishing Management Area has had its area open to sport fishing and today the visiting fisherman can fish in 6 lakes and seals. The fisheries management area is the second of four after the 8-mile-long Gimån in eastern Jämtland. The purpose of the association is to coordinate the practice of fishing and fisheries conservation, as well as to grant fishing rights to the public.
