Göta älv is 93 kilometers long and runs from Vänern to Älvsborgsfjorden in Kattegatt which is a long stretch. Today there are several fishing areas along the Göta River with different fishing licenses.
The fishing license applies only to Göta älv's Little Edet Trollh. FVO area not all Göta river.

Göta älv, Lilla Edet Trollhättan Fisheries Area Association was established in 1991.
The purpose of the association is a common interest interest and the right to fishermen in Göta River with its influx, from the north of the power station in Lilla Edet to the south of the power station, up to the "hang bridge" in Trollhättan. The association represents 132 individual land and fish owners in the water system. Our goal is to develop the fish and the fauna for the future.
There is the possibility to buy fishing licenses in several places in store, via SMS and the Web.
