Anglers offer exciting and varied fishing for the whole family in scenic Åminne!
Why not combine fishing with swimming and hiking in a lovely environment?

The fishing stretch in Gothemsån at Åminne extends from the road bridge (road 146) and downstream to a straight line between Gothemsån's estuary headlands, a distance of about 1.3 km.
The area is open for fishing all year round and the close connection to the sea means that there are great opportunities for varied fishing for a number of different species and with different methods.
Historically, Gothemsån is perhaps best known for its ice fishing during early spring, but species such as pike, perch, tench, roach, silver rudd and tench also usually swim in the river.
Keep in mind that it is not allowed to take up any pike or trout and from 1/3-31/5 all perches must also be released back. At other times, a maximum catch of 3 perches under 30 cm per fisherman per day applies.
Gothemsån and its tributaries constitute large and important areas for sea trout's opportunities to reproduce.
During the fall, the sea trout migrate up the river with the aim of spawning. It is common for sea trout to stay in the river both before and after spawning, which can lead to one or two getting stuck on the hook.
Should you catch a trout on the hook, it must always, without exception, be released again!
Ever since 1919, anglers have worked to ensure that there is good fishing in clean waters with healthy fish stocks. Our goal is to develop long-term sustainable sport fishing that is accessible to everyone.
