Handsjön is a lake in Berg's municipality in Jämtland and is part of Ljungan's main catchment area.
The lake has an average depth of 8 meters, has an area of 5 hectares and is located 287 meters above sea level. The lake is dewatered by Ljungan. Handsjön has many islands, islets, bays where mainly the pike thrive, there is also plenty of perch in the lake. In the old ridge it is a depth of about 10-15 meters. Large parts of Handsjön are reminiscent of Stockholm's archipelago, Johan Broman says. In addition to the above mentioned fish species, Handsjön also has trout and ID. The nature around the lake is forest landscape.
The area also includes smaller lakes, ponds and stream water. Losjön, Trollsjön , major parts of Lake Örasj and Trollsjötjärn , parts of Långvattnet , Övre and Nedre Galvattnet as well as a number of ponds, streams and streams.
Long-iron is the area's put & take of trout, char and rainbow.
We arrange two C&R competitions per year, Gäddraget (always the weekend v.28) and Höstgäddan (always the last Saturday in September) and that we have a children's pimple competition which is always on Good Friday. In 2020, we will make Långtjärn accessibility adapted, so everyone with difficulty getting out to fish now has opportunities that have not existed with us otherwise.
