Laxvikens FVO

Laxviken is 85 km north of Östersund. The area is accessed from the south via road 339 from Krokom. From the east via road 339 from Strömsund. The area has a varied range of fishing opportunities in both lakes, ponds and streams.

You can catch large trout and grayling in the fine waters of the Hotagströmmen . You fish for trout and trout in Stora and Lilla Kungsvatnet and Torptjärn . Only "very nice" trout in Lillvatnet . Pike, perch and roach in Gransjön and Gammalålvikstjärnen . In Lake Hotagen there are trout, grayling, pike, whitefish and lake.

Accessibility: Hotagensjön and Hotagströmmen have a road all the way to the front. Other waters shorter hike to the fishing spots.

Wind protection is available at Hotagströmmen, Stora Kungsvatnet, Lilla Kungsvatnet, Hotagensjön and Lillvattnet. Snowmobiling allowed to all waters, marked trails.

Buyers of fishing licenses have an obligation to read through the rules of the fisheries management area.
