Medskogssjöns SFK

Medskogssjön is nicely located between Sandviken and Ockelbo on road 272 and is easily accessible. By the lake there is a campsite with parking spaces for caravans, motorhomes, tents and cottages, there is also a nice beach and restaurant and a large parking lot next to the lake. Here it is allowed to fish with spin, angling and fly and only 1 rod/fishing license. Fishing licenses can also be purchased at the campsite reception.

It is also permitted to fish from a float ring, but only with a fly rod and fly line; there is a separate card for float ring fishing.

You can also get here by bus line 44 (X-trafik) from Sandviken and Ockelbo.

We will be planting rainbow trout continuously at least every other week during the summer fishing season.

Char has also been planted for winter fishing.

Medskogssjöns SFK

Medskogssjöns Sportfishing Club was formed in 2024 and will operate a "put and take" fishery in Medskogssjön with the planting of rainbow trout and char. Rainbow trout are planted continuously during spring, summer and autumn, and char are planted for winter fishing.

There is also the possibility to rent a "own" lake from us, it could be a nice activity for associations/clubs, companies or why not bring your family or friends for a fishing adventure. More info on the website.
