The fishermen's area includes the Lakes of Ömmern, Ören and Nären, which covers a total area of 974 ha incl. some smaller lakes. The catchment area is 10900 ha. The sores, the ears and the nose are lakes of varying nature. The sore and the ears have clear water, while the ears have more humus-colored water. The lakes are nutritional, thus the amount of fish and its growth varies.
Swimmer who is the largest of the lakes and is a deep lake with clear water. In the lake there are perch and pike in normal access, while trout is more economical access. As there is a cycling island in the lake, there are the conditions for the fish to grow up.
The ears and the nuts are founder and also have the normal access to perch and pike.
We have no catch limit, but ask those who are not happy to eat their fish to rediscover caught fish. We are grateful if those who get bigger fish report to us, please with a picture.
Welcome to Ömmern, Ören and Nären's fisheries conservation area.
The Ömmerns Fishing Association started as early as 1936. The fisheries management area was formed in 1985.
Among other things, the association has made spawning improvements in Laxån in the hope that the trout population will increase.
Large releases of trout molt also took place in 1985 and 1985, but the results were disappointing as recaptures were less than expected.
The fisheries management area works continuously to maintain the availability of trout.
