Pickesjön

Västra Götalands län / Borås municipality.

Pickesjön belongs to Viskan's water system and is about 28 ha in size. The lake is 14.4 m deep and has an average depth of 5.5 m.

In the lake there is a natural stock of perch, pike, roach and eel. There is also a small stock of carp. To make the lake more interesting for sport fishing, rainbow trout is put out.

The Pickesjö area is a small, valuable nature and recreation area which is close to the city center. The big pocket nestles in the Pickes Lake and we shall be careful about that! Here you can take a walk, fish, barbeque or just enjoy nature!
