Ringsjön consists of three different sea lakes; The eastern lake, the western lake, Sätoftasjön where the east is greatest to the surface also has the largest average depth of 6.1 m total sea area of ​​3973 ha. Max depth is 17.5, which is in Sätoftasjön.

Ringsjön is also famous for its braxen fishing. Since the beginning of this century there has been a problem with algae bloom, a reduction fish began to contribute to the fact that the depth of field has changed from 80 cm to 120 cm and significantly less algal bloom.
