Ryssbysjöns FVOF i Nässjö kommun

Ryssbysjön is located just northwest of Nässjö urban area. The lake has flat bottoms and is shallow, with a maximum depth of just over 3 metres. There are plenty of pikeperch in the lake and these are the easiest to catch by angling with bait fish or trolling.
Lake Ryssby has previously been severely affected by eutrophication, but thanks to targeted decimation fish after whitefish, it is starting to improve with a perch stock under growth. Although large perch appear more and more often in the catches, it is primarily fishing for pikeperch that attracts most anglers to Lake Ryssby.
