All nine fishery areas included in the siljan water system have agreed on a joint fishing license covering trolling and erosion throughout Siljan, Orsajön, Insjön down to Gråda and Byrviken.

Siljan is the largest lake in Sweden and Sweden is the sixth largest lake in size. The lake is 161 meters above sea level and the surface is 354 square kilometers including Orsasjön , Insjön and Byrviken .

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 16.
