Kalmar Sport Fishing Club runs the Snärjebäcken fishing water on a non-profit basis. Rainbow trout are planted there for most of the year. Snärjebäcken offers both calm and flowing water.

Whether you are an inexperienced or experienced fisherman, the area offers a variety of challenges. The approximately 400 meter upper stretch is a flowing stretch for fly fishing for much of the year. The entire stretch has open and accessible terrain.

When it's time for a little break from fishing, you have access to three barbecue areas, where you can meet other fishermen and exchange experiences. At the large barbecue area there is a shelter from the wind, where you can rest, grill and meet other fishermen. But don't sit too long, the barbecue area is not just a place to relax. A lot of rainbow trout are often caught around the barbecue area.
