Kinnekulle is a mountain on Lake Vänern's southeastern coast, in the municipality of Götene in Västergötland. Kinnekulle is a so called plateau mountain and is at most about 306 meters above sea level, the very top is called Högkullen. Thanks to its lime-rich bedrock, Kinnekulle has a lot to offer in terms of flora and fauna. The Munkängarna with its ramslug and ivy, Österplana was called with its orchids and the so-called Kleven (part of the mountain where it rises considerably) special nature. Kinnekulle is within the area of ​​national interest for nature conservation and is also covered by Natura 2000 .
