Stora Lövsjön is about 18 hectares of forest lake with an average depth of 6 meters and a maximum depth of 22 meters. The lake is located just outside Turbo in Hedemora municipality.

There are a large number of piers that are suitable for fly fishing. There are also 2 handicapped bridges where you can drive down with a wheelchair. There are ledges around the lake so that you can get around the lake with dry shoes. There are also log cabins and fireplaces by the lake. Rainbow trout are planted during the summer season May-October.

Opening hours 2024 up to and including 10/11. The lake closes Sunday 10/11 at 4 p.m.. Opens Christmas Day 25/12 at 10 a.m., for winter fishing. NOTE. NOT ALLOWED WITH C&R FISHING. (Restocking of fish) .

NOTE. Camping prohibited in the parking lot by the lake. Applies to caravans, all forms of mobile homes and camper vans and tents.
