The fishing opportunities are many and varied in one of Jämtland's largest fisheries management areas. In the Övre Ljungan valley with Helagsfjällen to the far west, there are thousands of hectares of forest surrounded by mighty mountains.

In the area there are close to 50 lakes and ponds and approx. 1.5 miles of flowing water, see map of all waters included in the area.

Classic waters in Storsjö are Sölvbacka streams with grayling and trout. Skärkån is Storsjööringen's main breeding site.

Storsjö FVOF (Bergs kommun)

Storsjö fisheries conservation area in Storsjö, Bergs municipality, Jämtland County, is an association of fishing rights owners in Storsjö parcels.

The area includes all the fishing that is common to the shift type. The purpose of the fisheries conservation area is to safeguard the interests of fishing right holders and promote general recreational fishing as well as to conduct fisheries conservation in the area's waters.
