The fishing council consist of 8 lakes togheter. The largestone being lake Tjurken which is nutrient-rich and well stocked with bait fish for the big perch, pike-perch and above all pike which inhabit the lake.
Magnificent fishes like perch of 2,3 kilograms, pikeperch of 9,6 kilograms and pike of 19,4 kilograms have been documented in the lake! The pike population is rich, but the pike-perch population is sparse but rising.

Lake tjurken is the main lake in this fishing council that consists of more than 1000 ha water. In total 7 lakes are represented and are all availalble on the same permit.
The fishing council represents the water owners and makes sure the fishing in the lakes are carried out in a sustainable way. We welcome all that are interested in a recreational environment and trust our visitors to help us sutain the wildlife. A lot of good catches has been reported through out the years and the really big catches exists but spoken very silently about...
