Tolkens i Marks FVOF

Tolken is a lake that stretches from Torestorp in Marks municipality down to Kungsäter in Varbergs municipality. The lake has a varying water depth with everything from shallow bays down to a depth of 30m. The north-eastern part of the lake has a rich birdlife with a lot of seabirds that breed in the spring.
Boat ramp with large parking is available at Hjortnäs' party site.
The lake has many good stone-covered places with nice swimming and additional possibilities. Tolken is a central lake that is part of a fisheries conservation project together with the surrounding Fvon, where the project aims to bring back the sea-migrating trout in the lakes with free migration obstacles from the whisper up into our water system.
