Torvsjö FVO

The fishery conservation area is located about 25 km northwest of the Åsele urban area.
From Åsele you take road 90 towards Vilhelmina, after about 17 km you turn right, towards Torvsjö.
The area includes Torvsjöån, Skarpsjöbäcken as well as four lakes and a pond system at Dammvik.
The area is easily accessible and provided with roads and paths and is partially marked with signs.
Adjacent to the water there are parking spaces and boats for rent.
Torvsjö FVO offers fine current fishing for trout and grayling in Torvsjöån.
Furthermore, the area offers fishing in four lakes for whitefish, pike, perch and in one case also fishing for trout.
Boats are available for fishing in Torvsjön and Stor-Skarpsjön. Floating is allowed. At Dammvik there are easily accessible ponds which offer trout.
