Welcome to Umeälven's Lower Fishing Area Since 2015, a common fishing license in Umeälven has been valid for fishing in the villages of Böle, Grisbacka, Ytterhiske and Grubbe-Västerhiske.
All wild sea trout must be released back and preferably not lifted out of the water.
Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 13.
Only in company with a keeper / adult / person who holds a valid fishing license (on his quota)
Children up to 13 years of age fish for free when accompanied by a guardian. However, the guardian must have a fishing license. All rules regarding fishing must be followed by both children and adults.
