Ärtingens i Borås FVOF

The lake Ärtingen is a spring lake with relatively clear water.

The area is 2.63 square kilometers, the largest depth is 23.7 m, average depth 11 m, screen depth 5.7 and it is 151 meters above sea.
The lake is relatively popular with both pike anglers and those who want to feed or pimple perch. The greatest depth is in the western part of the lake, while the eastern part is more shallow.

The lake has good populations of pike, perch, roach, whitefish and sickle. Eel, lake and trout are in smaller stocks.

Opportunity for boat docking is available at Påtorps Gård after contact with and permission from the landowner. (tel 0708-623719 or 0739-841543). Please note that the loading area may be inaccessible at times, and the road ahead is bumpy and passes through a horse paddock.
