Borås-Öresjö FVOF

Öresjö is perhaps one of Sweden's best ice lakes. In the larger competitions, the winners usually pull up over 10 kg!

The fishing license for Öresjö is also valid in Viskan up to Örebro and in Stora and Lilla Tosserydssjön . A special fishing license provides the opportunity to fish in Munkån and Svensån .

At the 2019 test, there is also a special fishing license "Viskan" for the part of Viskan that you can fish in when you are on Mölarps ö (See PDF map)

In Öresjö there are perch, bream, pike, yeast, pikeperch, lake, roach, whitefish, vendace and eel. In Munkån and Svensån there is, among other things, trout. Öresjö has been a drinking water source for Borås since 1932. This is the reason why it is forbidden to drive with 2-stroke engines on Öresjö . The area is not acidified. The fisheries conservation area is included in the Municipal Fishing Card.
