Fiskestadsjön/Kroksjöns FVOF

The lakes Fiskestadsjön and Kroksjön are part of Bräkneån's water system and are located just east/south of Väckelsång. The lakes together comprise approx. 525 ha, of which Fiskestadsjön is approx. 500 ha. The average depth is about 1.2 meters with a maximum depth of around 3 meters. Fiskestadsjön is historically known for a good supply of coarse pike. At Sandgårdslandet in the north-eastern part of the lake there is an easily accessible launch site. The possibility of launching a boat is also available at Kåranäs holiday village (entrance from road 27 approx. 3 km south of Väckelsång). Availability for fishing in Kroksjön is limited.
