Tikens FVOF

The fisheries management area includes lake Tiken with an area of 630 ha and Bräkneån from Tiken's outlet to Blekingegränsen, a distance of about 5 km. The lake has an average depth of 4 m with a maximum depth of 12 m. Bräkneån stretches through a very hilly wilderness area with varying stretches of flowing water and calm enclosures.

Fishing and fish species
The bitch has very good fertility. Otherwise, the fish stock consists of pike and perch as well as white fish such as roach, bream and bream.

In Bräkneån there is a stationary stock of trout, especially in the flowing parts, where you can fish with fly and light spinning. The casings contain pike, perch and whitefish. In the flowing parts, fishing with live bait such as worms and maggots is prohibited.
