Streaming forest stream with rapids and seals. Fishing area from the bridge along road 1132 to the outlet in Lake Storuman.

At the exit a simple located "wilderness camp" with toilet, barbecue hut and space for a tent or caravan. Information at the campsite. Bridges at road 1132 and E 12. Along the brook marked trails.

In the brook mainly trout and grayling, but at the outlet also whitefish, pike and perch. The village conducts fisheries conservation by preparing playgrounds for trout. Some release of brook trout has taken place.

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 14.
Only in company with a keeper / adult / person who holds a valid fishing license (on his quota)

Ankarsund's associations develop activities for the village together. The association is the fishing rights holder for Gardsjöbäcken and manages fishing management and card sales. Strives for a sustainable population of brook trout in Gardsjöbäcken. The supply of fish is not infinite - therefore we have introduced certain restrictions - see the rules tab.

The interest group holds a "wilderness camping" at the outlet of the stream. There is space for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Several barbecue areas and a "barbecue hut". The camping is free of charge - but donations are welcome in the Red Box at the beginning of the camping. Please write a few lines about your experience!

We hope you enjoy our area. Be careful of nature, light fires in designated fire pits - not on the rocks. Keep the site clean and use the trash cans at the campsite. Use the toilet - or bring a shovel and dig down. The same applies to fish waste.
