Gesundens FVO

In eastern Jämtland, the Gesunden fisheries management area offers varied and varied fishing in magnificent nature!

In the large and deep lake Gesunden, 16 km long and 2-3 km wide, there is plenty of fish, perch, pike, whitefish but also rough trout. Trout are planted out every year.

Small streams flow from the many smaller lakes and ponds, but also the roaring Sättån with trout. The river has a large catchment area.
Sättsjön is a good perch water, also plenty of pike.

Lake Mjösjön is our wonderful place for fishing and recreation with pike and perch. A nice rest house and boats for rent. There is a large raft at Lake Mjösjön. It can be used freely, but contact 0705 - 25 14 75 before.

We have boats for rent in Gesunden (Bomsund), Sättsjön and Mjösjön .

Sittån, brook trout .

The normal fishing license is not valid in Borstentjärn and not in Butjärn. There, the association has set out Rainbow. Borstentjärn opens on 5/2 2024. Snowmobile trails are available from Strömsnäs' association building. Butjärn open for fishing from 17/8 2024
