Österholmtjärn is closed from 4/10-24. The pond is closed until the premiere. Date to be decided shortly.
SV-Ö FVO is located in Bräcke municipality and includes the majority of lakes, ponds and streams and is approximately 9 miles from Östersund and 11 miles from Sundsvall.
Here you have the chance of a variety of fish species. Big trout, coarse char, shining rainbows for those who like precious fish.
Our waters also hold really nice perch and pike.
In addition to this, you have the chance to fight the big whitefish or rake the smaller varieties in late autumn.
With us, you can fish from a floating ring, fish still or running water, in other words, there is something for everyone.
In the near future you can also rent a boat with us.
Boat launch sites are available at most waters. In Lake Övsjön, Sicksjön and in Ansjöån you have a chance of wild large trout and also large pike.
In the four ponds, which are collectively known as the deep-sea group, you will find beautiful put-and-take fishing.
Boats are prohibited on the lakes, but floating rings are permitted. "Deep iron" holds almost exclusively char. A few trout may remain. "Österholmtjärn" is a mixed planted water. Trout, Trout and Rainbow are found here. "Västerholmtjärn" mostly holds rainbow trout, but a char also nibbles at regular intervals. "Moose calf roe" contains exclusively trout. Håcksjön has been a planted water, but today mostly nice perch are found there. Part of Ansjöån's north side belongs to SV-Ö FVO and offers fine fishing where you can catch trout, grayling, perch and pike depending on which part you fish and what time of year it is.
Catch and Release is allowed on all waters but obviously requires a fishing license.
The cottages at Västerholmtjärn and Djuptjärnen both cost SEK 100 per person per day.
For renting the cottages, you can contact Hans on 0725 - 29 44 73.
Call or send an SMS with the date you wish to rent.

SV-Ö FVOF works to improve fishing and fishing opportunities through, in part, the planting of fish, but also fisheries conservation measures such as rice vases, restoration of waterways cleaned of waterways and measures to reduce the eutrophication that Hemsjön and Skällsjön are affected by. Our goal is to create a sustainable fisheries conservation area that attracts both residents of the area and tourists as well.
