Hällungen is a spring lake with very clear and clean water.
Around the lake there are a lot of mountains and gravel hills.
There are also many small sandy coves. On the west side there is a long gravel bottom that you can wade out and fish on. On the eastern side, there is deep fishing with rocks and rocky bottoms. There are also several reed ridges around the lake. Three larger rivers as water flow and several smaller streams.
The lake has very clear and fine water with a lot of sand and stones around the lake. It is also a spring lake. Because it is located in Bohuslän, partly high mountains around the lake are mixed with forest.
