Höör Municipality is located in the heart of Skåne, where Skåne's plain landscape meets leaf and barrskog which dominates the northern part of the county. In Höör Municipality you can fish in six different fishing waters in which there are over twenty fish species. Just south of society Höör is the big Ringsjön, a lake divided into three parts - the eastern lake, the western lake and Sätoftasjön. In the beautiful beech forests near Frostavallen and Skåne Zoo you will find Vaxsjön a small idyllic lake of 17 hectares. It is located between Frostavallen and Skånes Djurpark in Höörs municipality and is part of Rönne Ås main catchment area.
