Joeström FVO
Joeström FVO is located between Södra Storfjället and Jofjället in Tärnafjällen. The fish stocks consist of native char and trout. The fishing waters are varied with both lakes flowing water. The area offers good fishing conditions both in summer and winter. The area around the waterways consists mostly of mountain birch forest.

Joeström's fisheries conservation area was established in 1991 with the aim of coordinating and conducting fisheries management in the waters within the villages of Joeström and Ström. The association grants fishing rights to the public through fishing license sales.
