All the lakes are part of the Alsterälven's catchment area and contain good stocks of pike, perch, roach, eel and various white fish.

There is a boat ramp in the southern part of Mången. Follow the signs from highway 63 towards Västerrud. The boat ramp on the right after about 4km at the beginning of Mången. Lilla Böckeln and Stora Böckeln lack proper boat ramps, but it is possible to take off by boat along Barnmossvägen.

If you travel with your boat between different bodies of water, please wash the boat thoroughly and drain the engine of water both before and after you ramp the boat. This also applies to other spaces on the boat that hold water. This is to prevent alien species and diseases from spreading between different bodies of water. For the same reason, we ask you not to move baitfish between different watercourses.
