Nordanås Fjällnäs SFF

The area is located by the Laisälven about 23 km north of Sorsele urban area.
It includes part of the Laisälven, lake Arresjaure and some smaller watercourses. The area around Laisälven is very interesting with large rapids and falls.
Roads and marked paths are available to most lakes.
Nordanås-Fjällnäs SFF is best reached if you take road E45 from Sorsele towards Arvidsjaur. After about 13 km, at the village of Heden, you turn left towards Arjeplog and after 10 km you reach Nordanås, which is in the middle of the area.

The fishing
The area offers good stream fishing for grayling and trout as well as whitefish in the Laisälven and a very attractive nature. Perch and pike are found in the lakes and ponds within the area. The fishing is best from the beginning of July to the month of September.

Fishery care
As the fishing waters can be sensitive to high fishing pressure, it is a matter of course that you do not "fish with a hook". Grayling is also a sensitive fish when it comes to storage and should therefore be prepared as soon as possible. Do not fish on growing small fish. It is not permitted to take up fish below the minimum size.
