Ovanåkers FVOF manages water in the central parts of Ovanåkers municipality with the urban area of Edsbyn in the south. The nature consists of typical Hälsinga miles of forests and waters with stocks of trout, char, grayling and a large number where there is a chance of large pike and perch.
The area also has a number of put-and-take lakes with stocked fish for those who like a more accessible fishing experience. There are piers (including those adapted for the disabled), shelters, outdoor toilets and fireplaces.
BERGSBO LAKE
Trout are continuously stocked, there is also a natural, but weak population of grayling. Two boats are available to borrow. Wind shelter is available. Included in the regular annual pass.
BEAR IRON
Put- & take water where rainbow trout are released, there are also perch. Disabled-friendly pier, windbreak, outdoor toilet and fire pit.
LOFTSJÖN
Clear water lake with trout and char, also pike and perch. Two windbreaks available. Included in the regular annual pass.
OL-ANDERSTJÄRN
Put-&-take water where rainbow trout are released, there are also perch. Wind shelters and docks are available. Included in the regular annual pass.
THE BEING
Clear water lake with a visibility depth of 5 meters, trout are naturally present as well as char. Large rockfish/lake sand dragonet hatching in June. All fish over 50cm must be released back!
EASTERN NEW AVENUE
Östra Nyasen is a spring water lake located 7 km north of Edsbyn. Rainbow trout are released continuously. Parking spaces are only a few meters from the pier itself where the boats, fireplace, disabled toilet and a disabled pier are also available. Own boat approved for use, however only electric motor.
The association manages the waters in the middle parts of Ovanåker municipality with the conurbation of Edsbyn in the south, as well as a number of ponds and ponds with implanted fish.
