Hirvas area Wilderness area with small lakes in small hilly mountain birch forest. The fish stock consists of char or trout in most lakes. Several lakes are within sight of the power line that runs through the area. The first is on the right after 1 km and the last on the left after 5 km. With a map in hand, you can discover the lakes that are not visible from the path. How do I get there? From Koskullskulle take the road towards Tjautjas jaure, drive 7 km. Stop where the power line crosses the road and walk to the right or the power line.

Byxtjärn Easily accessible water with firm beaches. The fish stock is trout How do I get there? From Koskullskulle take the road towards Tjautjasjaure approx. 5 km to an approx. 200 meter long parking pocket on the right side of the road. To the left is a path that leads to a pond, distance approx. 600 metres.

Salmijärvi Beautifully varied wilderness, hilly terrain with old forest, staghorn bogs and low mountains. Mostly fixed beaches and varying depth conditions, irregular coastline with headlands and bays. The water consists of two ponds, one where the path descends and a larger one just south of it. The fish stock is trout up to 2-3 kg and a stock of small whitefish. How do I get there? From Koskullskulle take the road towards Tjautjasjaure approx. 8 km to a parking pocket on the left just before the highest point of the road, follow the path approx. 2 km, the last 500 m are steeply downhill.

Onkijärvi Several ponds located in wilderness characterized by forestry, fixed beaches and a fishing hut that can be rented by the association. The first pond is Onkijärvi on the right of the road with a stock of large grayling as well as perch and pike. The second pond is Kulasjärvi to the left of the road with a population of trout. If you continue the forest road for another 1 km, there is a pond with char on the right. Hurkommermandit? Take the E10 towards Kiruna approx. 35 km from Gällivare. Turn right onto Hartijokivägen – a forest road that you follow for approx. 13 km. Turn left after Onkijärvivägen, which you follow for 500 m.

Trolling fishing in Storsjön When trolling, special rules and catch restrictions apply. Fishing with deep rigs and side screens is permitted in Storsjön. Fishing may take place with a maximum of 3 rods per angler and 1 bait per rod. A maximum of 6 rods per boat is allowed. The catch limit is set to 3 fish (Canada trout, char and grayling) per fisherman per day. Only 1 trout (30–40 cm) per day may be kept per fisherman.
