Welcome to Kumla Sport Fishing Association and Säbylundssjön!

Säbylundssjön is an easily accessible family lake. Spinning, angling, ice fishing and fly fishing are allowed. Säbylundssjön is an old sandbank and has very good water quality and a rich insect life.

As a member you have additional fishing opportunities. This includes our two member lakes, a very nice forest lake, here there is both a barbecue area, piers and wind shelter. As well as Lugnet which is a fly fishing lake with a focus on catch and release. Lugnet is also an old limestone quarry and can sometimes have very clear water and nice fishing close to the edge. Suitable for both beginners and experienced fly fishermen! You also have 2 quarries where there are plenty of perch. More information is available via welcome email that is sent out to new members!

Kumla Sportfiskeklubb releases fish 2-3 times a year and the amount released is based on information from visits to the lake but also on catch reports from those who purchase fishing licenses.

NOTE: During the summer the lake is frequently visited by swimmers when the weather permits. The swimmers stay on one side and it is possible to find other areas to fish from.
