Sävaråns FVOF

Sävarån is managed by Sävaråns Fvo and has a fishing license for a long stretch. The fishing license is valid from the freshwater border in Skeppsvik to just upstream of Botsmark.
At the fishing border upstream of Botsmark, Holmen Skog AB is the sole owner of fishing rights and fishing is not permitted to the public.
Sävarån has been restored since 2011.
Recently, the area between the bridges in Sävar has been restored with good results.
The rapid was previously more or less "unusable" both as a habitat for the fish and in terms of fishing for those of us who wanted to fish in it.
Now it is significantly better both for the fish and us fishing enthusiasts.
For those who only want to fish in Skeppsvik, there is a special fishing license.
The card is valid from Skeppsvik up to where the E4 bridge crosses Sävarån just downstream of Sävar community.
With the regular Sävaråkorten you can fish in the entire Sävarån FVO including Skeppsvik.

Other information

There is currently no control of the ascent at the salmon ladder at Krokbäcksfallet.
Neither Gravmarksby nor Fvo have the opportunity to find people who can volunteer.
The fish are therefore allowed to pass without being exposed to human influence, which in many cases can be a good thing.
A pity, however, for the visiting area and the statistics, but the main thing is that the fish can pass and get further upstream to spawn.
