Skärv Lake is a lake largely unaffected despite the long human activity. The lake is 154 ha and the surrounding area is dominated by woodland. The lake has a varied bottom topography and the maximum depth is about 20 meters. There are opportunities for swimming and fishing around the lake. Mainly occurs pike, perch and roach in the lake, but there are also whitefish, walleye and burbot.
Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 15.
Since 1978, the association manages the fishing in Skärvsjön. The lake works primarily as a source of recreation. The sport fishing is an important complement to the area's other sights, but is not extensive. The association's main goal is to promote water quality, fishing and fish fauna.
