Krångfors FVO

Krångfors FVO is located 2 km upstream of Skellefteå center and manages fishing from the village Dal up to Finnforsfallet.

The fishing is primarily conducted in the regulated Skellefte River after perch, pike, trout and grayling. Hares and trout are advantageously fished in the stretches of power downstream of the power plants and, above all, grayling can be periodically really good. Targeted fishing for trout takes place mainly downstream of the Granfors power station, where some fine trout are taken annually. The fishing for pike has increased in recent years in the river and it is regularly caught 10+ pike in Krångfors FVO.

In the river there are both river pearl mussel and river crayfish, where fishing for river crayfish is only open to fishing rights owners and residents of the FVO.
