Blåbergslidens Fiskeklubb

These two lakes, Tvärträsket and Stora Blåbergsträsket , are located high up at a reasonable distance from Skellefteå to make a day or evening excursion (about 40 min from Skellefteå by car). If you want to spend some time in very nice natural surroundings without disturbing cars or city noise, then this is the place to go!

At both lakes, there are a number of shelters with barbecue areas and dass. There is a large, fine handicap jetty at Stora Blåbergsträsket.

During the 60s, the lakes were treated so that there are only noble fish. We have also invested in planting only char and salmon trout. In addition to that, there are brook trout that the association fishes out of the streams that flow out of the lakes. The plantings are done in the autumn in connection with the closing of the water, normally from the end of September until the beginning of the spring winter when we make a new premiere, exact dates are posted at the lakes and at the fishing license machine.

The char takes best in the winter and the weeks immediately after the ice breaks up, but of course nibbles throughout the season. Salmon trout can also be caught throughout the season. The absolute highlight for all dry fly anglers comes at midsummer +- a week or so in connection with the sand lake dragonfly hatching. If you do not succeed in hooking them, you can see how they hook in connection with hatching! Every year, trout of between 3-5 kg are taken during this period, these are ones that have been in the lake for a number of years and have acquired the characteristic dark copper color.

Location and cost are indicated at the card machine. In addition to this, there are a number of boats that are unlocked and marked with names and telephone numbers, these can be borrowed if you call and check with the owner.

Floats are of course welcome and that even at Stora Blåbergsträsket there is a path right down to the water to be able to unload a boat.
