The lake is 4.8 meters deep, has an area of 0.95 square kilometers and is 102.2 meters above sea level. During test fishing, perch, bream, pike and roach have been caught in the lake.

In Skepen's northern tip there is a swimming area with a bathing jetty, a barbecue area with tables and benches and a dry toilet. At the swimming area, it is easy to launch smaller boats from boat trailers.

The ships are part of Nättrabyån's main catchment area.
