Övre Vattudalen's fishery conservation area is located about 80 km north of Strömsund, road 342 towards Gäddede.
The area offers fishing in the upper part of Ströms Vattudal, the lower part of Fågelsjön and a number of smaller ponds north of Svaningsjön.
In the area there is good fishing for trout, char, grayling. perch, pike and whitefish. Rainbow also occurs.

Övre Vattudalen's fisheries conservation area was established in 1997.
The purpose of the fisheries conservation area is to coordinate fishing and fisheries management, promote the interests of fishing right holders, sell fishing licenses and ensure the Arc deer's migration and reproduction conditions.
The area is also included in the Frostviken card and Ströms Vattudal Trolling card .
