Svartån (Linkelösa-Odensfors)

  Östergötlands län / Linköping municipality.

The Svartån has produced a Swedish record for both Färna and Sarv, and on this stretch there are also catches of large roach and pikeperch. Even occasional Asp and Trout have been noted on this stretch. Notes of bream of 3.8 kg and roach of over one kg are available. The size of pike and perch is not unique, but they can weigh up to ten and 1.5 kg respectively.
The Svartån flows from the Sommen in the southern Östergötland highlands to Roxen in the middle of the plain, a height difference of over 100 meters. Downstream of Linkelösa kvarn, the river is quite wide and shallow and has a lot of vegetation, and on this stretch there are great opportunities to catch large Färna. From Karstorp and downstream towards Odensfors, the river is calm flowing and includes several places for good fishing.
The local fishing license is valid for about 10 km of the river.
The most common fish species are pike, perch, roach, bream, bream, grayling, eel, lake, tench, asp and id. Altogether, there are 20 species in the river

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 15.
Can fish on someone elses fishing permit (but the person does not need to be)
